The cutting edges are separately induction hardened for durabilty and longer working life and are hardend to approximately 61HRC.

The jaws are angled at 40 degree and are ideal for use on electronic or tight to reach areas on computers, circuitry, or motor vehicles applications.

Knipex have used a good quality special tool steel material that is oil hardened.
